Board-level repairs, done right
Console Dr is Mark Wilcock, a games console repair specialist based in Warrington. I focus on the repairs most shops won’t attempt: complex, board-level work under the microscope.
What makes me different
A lot of “repairs” are really just part swaps, and when a shop can’t swap a part, they hand the console back. HDMI faults are the single most common problem I see, but they’re not what defines my work. The difference is that I repair damage directly on the mainboard: tiny components, lifted pads and cracked ports that need proper micro-soldering.
That means faults other repairers turn away, I can often fix, usually for less than a replacement, and always keeping your games and saved data intact.
